Thanks to Pantene for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
You’ll never guess what I did! I challenged myself to go 5 days without washing my hair and only using the Pantene Waterless Collection to style my hair 5 different ways.
I’m traveling non-stop for work and vaycay! So, I figured what better time to try out the new Waterless Collection than before I go on my next trip.

Pantene Waterless Collection
The Pantene Waterless Collection (available at Walmart) is free of sulfates and parabens. The products I used in this collection include:
Pantene Waterless Smooth Talker Dry Conditioning Oil.
Pantene Waterless Hot Mama Heat Activated Hair (Re)Freshing Spray.
Pantene Waterless Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam.
Pantene Waterless Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist.
I tried out all 4 products throughout 5 days of no washes and created 5 different hairstyles. This is how it went.
Day 1

Phew, that bed head though. So obviously my curls were in decent shape from the night before, but they needed a freshen up. So, I sprayed the Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist onto my ends. This dry conditioner mist helped to smooth away some of the unruly static flyaways I had created in my sleep. The Pantene Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist is packed with pro-vitamin B5, omega 9, aloe vera and jojoba oil. Not only was this mist good for my hair, but the scent was light and fresh.

To shake out any residual frizz that my wild slept in ends had created, I sprayed some Pantene Smooth Talker Dry Conditioning Oil on my ends. This dry conditioning oil helped soften my ends without making my hair feel greasy. The Pantene Smooth Talker Dry Conditioning Oil has pro-vitamin B5 and aloe vera to ensure my hair felt silky smooth for styling.

Day 1 hairstyle I think was my favorite. Don’t tell anyone but I low key want to get a short pixie cut after styling this!
Day 2

My curls on day 2 were definitely starting to lose their bounce. I sprayed in some Pantene Hot Mama Heat Activated Hair (Re)Freshing Spray to nourish my strands and coat them in silk and jasmine to make my hair more manageable for restyling. This spray dampened my roots, so I took a blow dryer to dry everything through. The Hot Mama Heat Activated Hair (Re)Freshing Spray was perfect to use before my blow dry and curling to protect my hair from heat damage. This spray is alcohol free which helps my hair retained moisture without drying out my strands.

I re-curled a few pieces that had gone flat and put my hair in a cute side pony. Now I was headed to lunch with my mom. Day 2 hairstyle complete.
Day 3

On day 3 I got a sudden call from the school saying the kids were putting on a virtual play via Zoom. Is it just me or does school always wait until the last minute to spring these event on you, lol. All my curls were gone by then so it was time to rock a sleek straight look. I used the Pantene Waterless Mist Behaving Dry Conditioner Mist on my ends to help smooth out my ends.

I brushed everything through and put on a simple headband to complete the look. Zoom crisis averted. Day 3 hairstyle complete.
Day 4

Day 4 was a doozy. You ever get so busy you forget that Friday night was the bachelorette party you RSVP’d too? And then you get a call from your sister asking where you are? Whoops!
I needed a full refresh at this point and fast! I used the Pantene Cheat Day Dry Shampoo Foam. This foam was perfect for day 4, because I could apply it with my fingertips directly on my roots in small sections at a time and comb through to my ends to remove dirt and oil. I let it air dry for about 60 seconds. I had never tried a dry shampoo foam before, but was pleasantly surprised. This foam really soaked up any oil I had accumulated throughout the week.

I placed my hair in a half pony tail and finished the look with a barrette to hide the elastic.

Luckily this only took 5 minutes tops and I was only 20 minutes late to the party. I think that’s called fashionably late? Day 4 hairstyle complete.
Day 5

This final day of the challenge was a super active day. I signed up for a Saturday yoga class and I promised Timothy we’d ride our new bikes at the park. So, no wash, no product. Just a simple pony tail and bang twist.

And that’s how my Pantene Waterless Collection Challenge went. When I leave for vacay, I’ll be packing these products to make travel and time much easier.
The entire Pantene Waterless Collection is available in store and online at Walmart.
Would you try my Pantene Waterless Collection Challenge?
Until next time,
