I Couldn’t Find a Thing to Wear

I’m going to be honest and I know this is so stereotypical but I couldn’t find a thing to wear today lol. I have well over 300 articles of clothing and I just couldn’t get my brain to catalog through all the pieces I own, to create a look that made me happy. I know, first world problems, right. I ended up putting together several outfits that I liked, and will definitely be wearing this season, but none of them had that SPARK that Friday gives you! You know, that anticipating feeling of hope that your hard work will be rewarded and that it wasn’t for nothing.

So, after an hour and a half of putting outfits together, (my dressing room now looks like a college frat party, post party). I decided to hell with this. I’m going to put on something that is fun, and playful and just makes me feel good. The current fall trends can kick rocks today. I’m going to wear something that makes me happy!

So, I got this jumpsuit from Torrid, several months ago and forgot it was in my closet. As soon as I put it on I remembered why I bought it. This muti-color stripe pattern, and its deep fall colors of plum and mustard really just sparked joy for me today. Adding a basic denim jacket from Old Navy was a must since it’s getting cooler everyday. And I figured, if I’m going to go all out, why not wear my favorite green suede block heels that I snagged from Walmart.com for a whopping $10.00! I put my hair up in space buns and committed to making Friday my day.

And with that said, I want you to do the same for yourself. Put on something fun that is a reflection of the true you. Some days trends aren’t the answer and the inner you is what you need to let out. If you’re not sure what too wear today, the best choice is to wear what makes you feel the happiest. You can’t go wrong with being happy.

Hugs, Kisses and All That Jazz,

Eva

  1. I love the way you write. It makes me feel like I’m in the room with you and you’re talking to me.
